Stick Figure possesses a unique style of music that combines a creative
blend of upbeat roots reggae with the reverberating echoes of dub.
Stick Figure's music is written, produced, and recorded by Scott
Woodruff, a young man from Boston, MA. Scott became fascinated with the
art of music at an early age when he began playing the drums.
Eventually, his passion for music grew and over time he acquired the
skills to play the guitar, bass guitar and keyboard. With the purchase
of a quality 16-track recorder, Scott found the means to combine his
talents and make complete songs on his own.
All
of Stick Figure's songs are made by recording each instrument
separately, layering several tracks on top of one another in unison.
Seeing that Scott plays all the instruments and produces all the songs
himself, Stick Figure is not a band, but rather a single artist
combining his musical talents for each instrument to produce the songs
that make up his albums
